Me voy convenciendo.

I ran into the "won't save" issue on IE also. I found some info in a Tiddler that said to right click the html file (in explorer), select properties, and then click the "Unblock" button at the bottom of the properties box.

It worked for me. It looks like you have to do this before you double click to open the html file.

The tiddler is "ServicePack2Problems" by Jeremy Ruston and here's a snippet:
The solution is to right-click on the TiddlyWiki html file and choose Properties. If the file is blocked, you'll see an 'Unblock' button on the resulting property sheet that removes the protection and allows the file to open in the 'My Computer' zone. Then open the file in Internet Explorer - it might put up its information bar asking you whether you want to run it. You need to 'Allow blocked content' to let TiddlyWiki do its stuff.

Hope this helps!

Hi Dave, This was a really well-designed how-to slideshow, one of the best I've ever seen. Thanks for providing it, I'm sure it was a lot of work.--becky

Hi Bruce

Kevin Vanhoozer pops up in my BibblyWiki - I have the book that shows up there. But I don't know him personally. You can find several Getting Things Done versions of TiddlyWiki (google GTD TiddlyWiki, D3, and MonkeyGTD. I recently started tinkering around with one for fun - see http://www.giffmex.org/giffmexgtd.html for a rough draft I started.

Hey Dave!

Thanks for your info - I will take a closer look later. Was looking for a Web based Action Item list.

I noticed the biblical content on your presentation and Kevin VanHoozer's name - do you know him? He was a prof at TEDS when I attended there a long time back ;-)

Hi joDoe,

Yes, my Australian friend Simon Baird has created the monkeyGTD which is also a great to-do TW, especially if you buy into the GTD system. I like his new version at http://mgtd-alpha.tiddlyspot.com/ better than the original, and experimented with it before finally deciding to create my TiddlyDu2 which fits my style a little better. I'm on the verge of adding an improvement on TiddlyDu2, hopefully in the next day or so.

Hmmm...

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with TW using IE. My understanding was that IE 7 was much more compatible with TW but maybe it's not so much since the recent TW updates. I wish I had time to check on that. Maybe I will just have to MAKE time. Also sorry you got no help at the Google group - usually they are very good at helping new people...
