This is the first TiddlyWiki I've ever created that I have no intention of ever using. All my other TiddlyWikis have been for my use first, then an empty template created for others' use. But in this case I already use my TiddlyDu2 for personal organization ([[See here|http://www.giffmex.org/tiddlydu2.html]]) and am somewhat entrenched in it.
But I recently got around to reading David Allen's book //Getting Things Done// and for fun I thought I'd try my hand at creating a GTD TW that bears little resemblance to other TW versions but tries to be true to the GTD system's principles and ideas. I'm not trying to compete with the classic GTD and D-cubed TiddlyWikis or Simon Baird's flashy MonkeyGTDs. Hard to talk about competition when we're all giving stuff away for free. But I'm just wondering if this version has a few surprises to offer that those don't. Or maybe it will inspire other, better versions. So for what it's worth, here it is - take it and run with it...
The Giffmex GTD TiddlyWiki assumes you are at least fairly familiar with both TiddlyWiki and the Getting Things Done system, but tries not to assume too much, and tries to make the process of organizing your life as painless as possible. My idea was to use the 5 steps as the framework and provide easy tools and brief instructions for each step.
I will not include more than a basic calendar, since I have found a handy portable week planner preferable to a computer-based calendar. If you want more, feel free to tinker with it!
Much needs to be done before it is ready, as you can see from the progress list below. And I am open to your suggestions - write me at giffmex@gmail.com.

Tickler files are a series of folders, one for each month and one for each day of the current month. The day before each new day and month, you review that day or month's folder for items to review or do, then send the folder to the back of the series. David Allen compares it to sending yourself mail to do/review in the future.
